I am an absolute beginner and was looking for a budget guitar to start learning on. This kit comes with everything you need to start out and more. Included with the guitar, you also get: a practice amp, cable to connect the guitar to the amp, a guitar strap, 3 picks, a digital tuner, replacement strings, capo, and a bag to store the guitar.The guitar seems pretty well built. My only complaint with it is that the frets do scratch up against my hand a little, so I will have to file them down a little. Also, I ordered the green and black and in most lighting it just looks like a black guitar. It looks cool, but if you are getting it for the vibrant green, you will be disappointed. (See picture, ignore "scratches" as this was taken before I took the protective film off)The guitar is easy to tune, and stays in tune for a decent amount of time. The included amp is ok. Weak sound and the one I received is quite buzzy, which is annoying but fades into the distance once you start playing.Overall, this is a no risk investment to start learning the guitar. It comes with everything you need, you'll just need the lessons!My husband has been playing guitar for over 50 years. His guitar of choice has always been a Fender Stratocaster, although he sold his about 25 years ago and replaced it with a Gibson Les Paul. He regrets that decision to this day. Although this is a cut-rate Strat knock-off, he's pleased to have it. His verdict?
